Since March 2007, (as of June 19, 2008) 219 racehorses have died on tracks in the UK. Read the names of all the deceased horses in this memorial video.

Please note that Ladalko died as an 8 year old, not a 1 year old. If you are going to make these videos, please get your facts straight. Also please consider whether better to live good but shortened life as racehorse in enjoyable 'want for nothing' conditions, than 25+ years plus of misery in a paddock not big enough to feed a rabbit in such an environment which many horses face in this country, without challenge.

if people realy have to race could they not have jumps..its way more dangerous with jumps

My family has 13 horses in Ohio and one of them is an old race horse who got blinded in one eye (He couldn't race anymore). His real name is Foggy Meadows (sadly ironic) but I call him The Nibbler mainly because he think my ear is a carrot =P <3333 the vid!

so sad :( that is so many horses that have died for human entertainment/racing.. that is madness!

Terrible. So many innocent and beautiful horses......Dying due to peoples greed and need for a cheap thrill... Too many raced to death. And so many so young.
I have 2 Ex-Racehorses saved from Slaughter becaue they were too slow to make anyone happy. The may not be Champions but I still love them. THeir great Saddleseat/ Hunter Horses Now.
