those that think the jews are above the rest of the nations are a foolish folk. The bible says the jews are to be a priestly nation, so that makes the rest of us a congregation. Not a subspecies.

I heard there used to be large Roman communities of tens of thousands who kept the Noahide Laws. But with the rise of the Christian church and the persecution of the Jews, it became extremely dangerous for Jewish people to go out and teach these laws to gentile people. Thank God now Jewish people are free to teach them again - and that more gentile people choose to take them to themselves.

@takewhole also anyone who converts to judaism is just as jewish as a rabbi that was jewish from birth. there is no difference as long as you do it through an orthodox process. the reform and conservative conversions are not universally recognized because they do not go by the full set of halachic standards

@takewhole you would be right if your information was correct. however, anyone can convert to judaism. judaism is not a race or ethnicity, but it is a people. anyone can join the jews through a conversion process but it is long and there are a lot of requirements, it usually takes about one year, and males will have to be circumcised at the conclusion. the difference between jew and noahide is one of responsibility, the jew has to keep more laws, thats it. anyone can join

@jacobk2 Jews never prosletized these so called '7 noahide laws', nobody but the jews know about them! But pls explain WHY G-d chose to divide humanity into 2 parts...........because one was deemed more special than the other? Worshipping G-d should be the same for all, same laws, rituals, prayers. Otherwise i am born inferior and cannot be one of the 'chosen people', nor can my family etc etc. And you can only truly be jewish if your mother is jewish. Pls this really is not good.

@takewhole That's silly. G-d seperated/set apart and created Am Yisrael (the people of Israel ) from the nations and gave 613 commandments. But, to the childen of Noah he had given 7 (which end up being many more when studied in detail). Jews and non-jews are equal in vlaue both made in image of G-d, but simply different roles like man and woman.

Double Standards. One law for Jews and one law for gentiles. Am i born inferior to a Jew? Ridiculous. You gentiles here you go here are some laws for you to follow, our Jewish ancestors gave these to you, by the way we have some 'special' laws God gave us. Now shoo get away from here
