yes all 2,500 that are in bed with the government, banking system and energy companies do, because they make an awfully lot of money from promoting the corrupt government line...... but unfortunately for them there are over 31,000 other scientists and a lot of REAL science that tells a very different story.

Come to think of it, the over 44 outright lies in Al Gores science fiction film dont really help the governments line very much either.

of course it does not matter where the radiation emitted actually comes from as long as what is radiated is equal to that which is absorbed. If that wasn't the case we'd end up with huge differences in temperature between layers and that would be a low entropy condition that nature does not actually tolerate for long.

The moelcules absorb IR from the Sun and radiate it isotropically - both up and down. They absorb light from below and radiate it isotropically - both up and down.

It does not rediate all of the IR that it gets from below back down - it has no way of knowing which way that is (unless you think photons are pulled back to Earth by gravity)!

You have shown you don't understand that any point in the atmosphere radiates isotropically and that the atmosphere radiates back to the surface on average what it absorbs of upward IR radiation.

Its actually radiative transfer physics. If you are pretending to know something about something it helps to get the name right.

Part of my thesis was on resonance scattering of X-rays in a partially optically thin ionized medium.

I don't expect you to know what that means but it is radiative transfer physics.
