  • Thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed my take on the tune. I don't use finger picks but occasionally a thumb pick. On this tune I'm using a thumb pick.

  • I seem to remember this piece by Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, is this right?

    You play great!

  • @paris1952 Thanks and glad you enjoyed my take on the tune. Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee did play this. tune. Brownie McGee was influenced by Fuller and Sonny Terry traveled with him. Thanks again.- Frank

  • I just got my own FS-2 from Russ Campbell in Jersey. A great guitar!!! Don't worry Frank, I'm not talented enough to steal your act or sound. But your arrangement on THIS song.....I'm running with it babe. I gotta. You won't mind?

If I get it right in public, I'll say that it's your arrangement. If I botch it, I'll say it's mine! Cool?

Both Paul Rishell/Annie Raines and John Hammond Jr. do great covers of this song.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it and by all means, run with it. Russ is a great guy, and just as great to deal with. In my opinion, Jack builds one of the best guitars out there. I hope you enjoy your FS 2 as much as I enjoy mine.
