@davilahotep The truth of the matter is: Their has always been homosexuality throughout all cultures. I know this by it being broken down from true african spiritual masters and elders. The circumstances of homosexuality is such an extensive subject to cover. To where, many afrocentric people and representatives wouldn't want to deal with it! let alone fathoming the depths! I respect both Dr. Africa and Dr. Naim Akbar
However, the speculations in the video are being expressed!
Hotep!

@shajwhite very wise choice you make. And, it was well said!
Peace!

@MrJoyjoyfun a loss of universal connection which is so unfortunate.

he's curing homos?!

@mootst1 I totally agree with you. This is only one flaw, but it should not discredit his 'factual' studies. To me anyone that respond to homosexuality it's always emotional/persona stance. I will continue to read his books and listen to his lecture. You will not agree with anyone 100% of the time.

I like Dr. Llaila Afrika but I totally disagree with him about homosexuality! It is NOT taught and it's not a disease or behavior so therefore you need no cure. His stance on this issue is emotional and person nothing to do with science.

This guy, with this kind of theories is doing nuttin for blacks imo. Its scary man!

First of all i couldnt care less if Akbar was a homosexual. What are we afraid of? Why do we sooo believe it's European. If so..WHY are there black people gay? Oh they imitate the white man! Well, why aren't there more black gays. There are enough black imitators that are still not gay. So we believe black people in ancient times could never been gay. Were there only strong, intelligent and beautifull people..come on. Next thing you gonna say you believe in Santa Clause..Be real people.

@mootst1 Kinda like Dr. Akbar inviting a white man to Ghana.

@reliableandrew you are absolutely correct. He is spewing hate and further distance in our community. These people kill me talking about being AFRIKAN centered and are no better than the white supremacists on the other end of the spectrum. Each of them spews hate and advocates more distance in their communities. Divided you FALL!!! no exceptions!
Pathetic comments below, why the fascination with 'gayness', are you gay yourself?
If not, then how about being indifferent to it?
My disappointment is in Llaila Afrika...who could have spoken about Naim Akbar's great service to the black community...but look..even he reduces himself to age old gossip & trying to find fault in each other, perhaps to boost himself...shame on him.

truth is truth, i don't know what u talkin bout, should we be indifferent to people who mess with children too?? get outta here, you can't make a livin off teachin 'manhood' to our community and be a flamin fag, nah mane... and to me, this gives Dr. Brutha Llaila Afrika more validity for speaking up, and if you listen, someone asked him 'bout the subject, and he just answered/addressed the question
