  • How about tort reform? Dems are afraid to take it on..

    Chuck Devore for senate 2010!!

  • Thanks. I see now. Also, in California my friend's husband's mother, who was an illegal from Mexico, got an operation free by going to emergency room and the doctor arranged the operation. We all will have to pay for illegals' free care at the emergency rooms no matter what they put in the Health Care bills.

  • Simple your insurance premiums goes up , the REP are concern about inmigrants getting free health insurance, but they have better med ins than us SURPRISED? I WAS TOO BECAUSE I WORK FOR A COUNTY HOSPITAL WHERE YOU HAVE TO BE ILLEGAL AND you GET BETTER CARE THAN US!! SO STOP!! THINKING LIKE A PARTY THINK FOR WHAT IS BEST FOR ALL THE AMERICANS, MUCH BETTER THE HUMAN RACE AND BE PRO HEALTH CARE FOR EVERYONE IN USA, THANKS.

  • well what if a bill bankrupts a person? that means that a person doesn't have the funds to pay the bill. in bankruptcy the a person can "settle" their debts, meaning that their creditors pay some of their debt, including hospitals. so what happens is, when you pay your health insurance, or pay the hospital bill, they both charge the difference to its paying customers. that is like a tax, because a certain percentage of people cannot pay a certain amount of debt, which is transferred to others.

  • I don't understand how the taxpayers pay when someone without insurance goes to the emergency room. Because they bill you for that here in Arkansas. Are the hospitals collecting twice???
