Story:
Zack and Aerith meet and Zack asks her her name but she refuses. They start to get to know each other and fall in love. Then Zack and Cloud meet and become best friends (you dont actually see this but it happens. i was running out of Zack and Aerith clips o.O). Zack has to go to Soldier and he eventually dies. He s in denial so he justs asks of Aerith and Cloud (as they sit by his side) that they not tell him he's dying. They agree and spend Zacks last moments with him. They bring up old memories of him and recall all the great times they had. Zack's last moments are probably his favorite because he remembers all of his accomplishments and gets to fall in love with Aerith all over again. he remembers her spunk and wit, and remembers why cloud is his best friend. He begins to take in the fact he is dying and will never see them again, but he still just cant except it. Aerith prays for him. And Zack remembers his last memory before he passes. The promise he made to Aerith to come back.

"i promised you... i would come back. And....."
"Zack... You will always be with me."
"How?"
"In my heart. I will always remember the one i fell in love with. head over heels, and i dived right in. i couldn't help myself. Those eyes..."
Zack laughed.
"hmm.... in you're heart eh? That seems like a pretty good place...
for me to live."
