Here we see an Air Canada B777-300ER landing on runway 24L at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau Internarional Airport. It's a particularly windy afternoon so this aircraft is crabbing a bit as it approaches the runway. This particular flight was arriving from Paris (CDG).
One of my favourite aircraft;It seems to be floated before the touchdown with such a strong wind. nice footage...

@Ilivemindfreak yes airbus also does that but he said 1 and a 747-400 and the answer is no the jt9-7q produces 53,000 lbs of thrust so mulitply that by 4, you need 2 ge90-115b

The configuration off this aircraft is 3x3x3.

@hawker800FO No it actually did, the GE90-115B rated at 115,000 lbs of thrust actually kept a test bed (747-200 I think) aircraft flying for hours with the 3 smaller PW engines off and only the GE90 engines on! :)

@EICASActivitee no, 2 could

@EICASActivitee GE90-115B there are different Variants of it to vary in thrust range. :)

Awesome engines! One GE90 can power one 747-400 alone!
