  • Great video ! I have been watching this and the Decorah Family...and am so thankful to have been a part of both :) Tears of joy for these sweet baies...fly free forever :) Thanks Doug & Sheila for making this happen !

  • This is the first eagle nest I have watched. An amazing adventure to watch the Hornby nest from the eggs being laid to the fledging and everything in between. I really miss seeing them. Mom and Dad are such wonderful attentive parents. I miss Alexandra being pushy and David's tantrums. Hope they have a very long and safe life. Thank you Hornby's for making me smile as I watched you live in the wild. I will never forget this experience. Thank Doug and Sheila Carrick for sharing this with us.

  • Hard to believe how these magnificent creatures unknowingly to them captured the hearts of so many human beings!!

Thank you for sharing your time and energy and $ so as to allow me to share, too.

    Gentle as you go...

  • I really love these montages you're putting together. They'll stand as long term memories of the families we've visited with, and the kids we've watched hatch and grow up. Well done, Sir!

  • Alex and David will never be forgotten, they live in the hearts of the people who loved and love them so dearly. LONG LIVE ALEX AND DAVID !!!

  • My first year watching this nest. Loved it. I so miss getting up every morning to check on their daily progress. So pleased to see that they have succesfully fledged. I wish Alexandra and David a long life. I hope they find mates and continue the circle. I also hope that Ma and Pa continue to raise more eaglets in the future whether we have the privlege to see them or not.

Thank you, Doug & Sheila also you Cali for putting this tribute together.
