Beautiful Little Girl~She's growing up

She isn't a baby anymore is she? Michaela is going into middle school and I feel truly that these next few years will go by even faster than the first 10. I wish I could slow down time a bit...just a little bit.


I vividly recall walking her into her Kindergarten class (what seems like yesterday), standing behind her and holding back tears. I had a backpack on my back filled with all of her school supplies.

Michaela turned and gave me a big tight bear hug and then preceeded to go to her table. She was excited; she never cried or looked concerned...it was me.

Anyway; she's headed for middle school and this is a huge adventure. She will be attending a Magnet program and I am so happy about that.

Being in band, playing percussion, will be such a wonderful experience for her.

So, I look back at her baby pictures and feel so blessed to have a story to share with others.

Wow I'm in my first year of high school. And how bad I wish i was back in Jr. High. Please Tell her to make the Memories in Middle School Count and to Make the right choices to lead her to a future that she wants, and I love the Song. It really is a Treasure. Keep her close.

i know! i keep looking at my daughters pics she is only 2 right now but still she has changed so so much since birth and its sad i miss having a little tiny baby in my arms and i know that time will only start going faster then it already is.
