On vacation just west of Cheyenne on Tuesday, May 18th, my brother and I spotted the first tornado we've ever seen. Later rated an EF0 by the National Weather Service, it came close to I-80 before dissipating as the storm moved north, north-west. As we drove east on 80, I realized we were getting too close to the tornadic storm and we pulled a U-turn. The front edge of the storm overcame us for a few minutes with extremely heavy rain and small hail, but we made it out safely and later pulled off of the interstate to get a better view. This storm did not produce another tornado, but more continued to touch down in central and north-east Colorado that day. Most of the filming was by Brad Sherman (arrowguy173)
Nice! Too bad it became rain wrapped. And I think that car at 3:10 got zapped.
