Here's a quick clip of some blues noodling on my '68 reissue Strat through my '73 50 watt Marshall. I changed the grill cloth and logo on my Marshall 1936 cabinet. Looks sweet with the '73. I used the Marshall Handwired grill cloth. The piping beneath the logo on the amp is reflecting some colored lights I had on - this is not a statement of any orientation (not that there's anything wrong with that).

  • Good sound!

I also have been using 1974 Marshall 1987 with JBL K-120 since 1978 though

I modified the bright channel circuit constant for a Gibson Les paul.

My 1965 stratocaster body with 1957 telecaster neck is just fit with the normal cannel.

  • Sounds like some nice combinations. I'm sure they all sound great!

    Rock on!

  • Channels are jumpered and you are plugged into the low input?

  • I'm plugged into the high input of the bright channel. The low input is jumpered to the high input of the normal channel.

  • Thanks!

  • @LeftPaul1 Ahhh now I see, my bad and thanks for the quick response, and great palying btw!

  • The amp is a '73 and the Strat is a '68 reissue.

  • So it was made in '73 but it's a '68 reissue? My favorite marshall has got to be the late 60's Plexi, Super Lead Plus

  • It's my white '68 Reissue Strat, I bought it in 1988. You can see it in my other videos. All parts are original.
