Climbed it in less then three hours with some friends of mine. Worked the night before as well.

IN MY HEART I WOULD LEAVE 6 OR 7 AM THAT GIVE YOU PLEANTY OF LIGHT TO GET HOME.

I would recomend waking up at 6:00am and on the trail by 7:30am it took us till 8:00pm to finish which isn't that bad but if you can't hike in the dark you should be pretty early

what kind of equipment did you guys use to get up? Never been here but i really want to and i havnt the slightest idea how to prepare for this trip lol

@ttkay123 THE TRIP TO THE TOP OF MT. MARCY WAS A TOUGH TRIP BUT CAN BE DONE.
THE EQUIPMENT, WATER BOTTLES, WATER FILTRATION DEVICE, FIRST AID KIT, FLEECE VEST ,
RAIN COAT , FOOD BACK PACK, GOOD WALKING BOOT.
HOW TO PREPARE, START BY WALKING 1 MILE THEN 10, THE HARDEST PART IS ,TO START.

is the highest mountain in new york state
hard clmb,but can be done with a family
once there you will never forget the trip
