Set the Wayback Machine for 1989, folks, as I bring you this week's installment: The Ninja Turtles Trilogy on the original Nintendo.
I recorded the commentary in two parts, which is why my voice sounds so low during the review for TMNT 3.
Enjoy, and feel free to comment :)
@Satanicallyfree Actually, I haven't beaten any TMNT games. In this I got to third world, the town which is a maze! In TMNT 2 I reached Shredder but he whooped my ass! Well, I never got chance to play TMNT III Manhattan Project. I'm not even sure was it even released here in Europe.

@XJVHS I loved the challenge of that level. I hate the last 2 levels. Frustrating beyond belief. Lots of busted controllers. Only 2 continues.

I really agree with you with the first TMNT game on the NES. The damn bomb defusing scenario. It was so frustrating that there was short time limit, but all the traps in there.
Laserbeams I can handle, but the electric seaweed? So annoying obstacle that I wanted to rip the head off from that jackass who designed that underwarter stage.
It was also stupid that you can't swim in the water when in sewer. They're turles for fuck sake, how they can't swim in the sewers? Ultra games were lazy!

I think we could do without the little video intro.

I always thought the lava jump and closing spiked gates were the most heart pounding parts of this game. The underwater stage is pretty routine and you can muscle your way through it. Touch those gates and you're dead.
