I'm very offended by the use of that word, and it reflects more poorly on you that you would say such a thing because intelligent, well-spoken, and respected people (of whom I consider you to be) know better than to use that word. People appropriate words for their own agenda and claim ownership and then claim other words off limits and tear up definitions and rewrite the language and sell it back to us with an entirely new message. Fascinating. Then they claim offense at others' use of language. In a free society no word shall be stifled. If you don't like being offended, find a sound-proof room.
