I luv kate mulgrew and I luved every second of her on Voyager but how did such an intelligent woman end up on a Star Trek series she prob could have done so much more but I am so glad she ended up on Voyager no one else could have played Janeway

The keys to a good interview are a great interviewer and a relaxed interviewee.

Kate is fun and full of life. That part is already there. Tom actually seemed to give a rip what people were saying. He listened and responded to what the guest was saying. He presumed the audience would ride along no matter where the conversation went. Morons like Leno don't give a rip what anyone says. Conan has actually done good interviews but he seems to override that ability to be 'funny'.

He's probably frustrated with having to try to connect with someone who talks like every spoken word is wisdome that needs to be recorded for posterity....or hell maybe she thinks "hallmark" can use this sentimental 'wisdom.'

Oh my god!! What would happen if Kate Mulgrew was shipped off of Korea to room Dr. Charles Emerson Winchester III?

Now THAT show would surely produce some laughs and....also, maybe some nightmarish introspection into the nature of pretension. Truly, her "public image" has swallowed the rest of her identity. Otherwise, there would be no personality here at all.
