Politically its perhaps the most significant speech of his presidency .... why??? .... because the overall terrorist strategy is at a cross roads .... either he goes THIS WAY to a potentially prolonged conflict generating more conflicts or THAT WAY a steady withdrawal and abstinence from middle eastern affairs ...... diverting funds and efforts to the internal security of the US from terrorist acts - Wars as a General rule weigh down presidents and administrations historically.
