Yes I have a reason why the ACU pattern is in different shadings, and why one picture is darker than the other, and/or brighter than the other. Most of you don't know that ACU works with light. No it wasn't rolled around in mud, or been washed a lot. And why doesn't it camouflage with EVERYTHING?? Because the US Army picked a camouflage uniform that will camouflage with the APPROPRIATE tactical environments. Now quit saying that the ACU doesn't work. You proof is already in this video.

the reason why australian dnt use green and gold in combat eny more cuz it doesnt blend it we use multicam now so why do ur standard american troops use the worst camo today when in the past u guys had desert cam which worked pretty good

I've seen those new A-TACs and im impressed (A-TAC & A-TAC FG). They are some of the uniform patterns being tested to for the replacement of the UCP. I don't know why the Army didn't just do that the Marines did and keep the 2 pattern system (like every other modern fighting force)

maybe acu works on the rocks but it doesnt work in forest

The ACU doesn't only suck because of the camo pattern. The material sucks, too. It's a compromise between winter and summer weight. For forest environments, I'd use a MARPAT uniform. For the desert, depending where I am, I'd either use my six-color desert BDU or my DCU. The BDU is WAY more comfortable than the ACU.

multicam is way better, also the new upcoming camo called fear camo works great.

I see a video proving that it does not work most of the time. It also glows in the moonlight. Multicam is much better. We need to go back to having two different camos and maybe a third for places like A-stan were terrain varies in the same region.
