History ALWAYS repeats....sad but true !!! And you know why ??
It my sound as a cliche, but we humans, never take the time "to listen " to the history, and we rather act first and then we think about it !!!....but that "thinking" is now due, and we suffer. ok now at the Globe itself, and at the Europe in our case !
Europe, as it now looks, is in a war: a war of the money, we cannot see the victims as in a real war...but a war it is !!!

I believe that History never repeats itself. I'm agree on the two examples that you choose (even if the WWII concerns mainly the POLITICIANS and not the French). But if you want to speak about History, what about Germany under Charlemagne or under Napoleon ?
