I'm so glad this is up on youtube. I thought I was taking a shot in the dark when I searched for "George Raft what's my line".

@TheJomogogo That line has been accreditted to many people, but I really hope Mr.Raft was the first.

Definitely one of the funnier posts. I remember Mr. Raft in the movies when I was a kid. I liked him then, and I like him more now. What a classy man.

That was fun to watch! THANKS for posting! Though I never thought he was all that talented as an actor, the late great George Raft did have class, was a snappy dresser & was a gifted dancer. And I loved that fact that he could laugh at his "tough guy" image....he obviously had a delightful sense of humor.

Movie legend

another tough dancer would be james cagne. but george raft is way underrated imho. i love all his movies, he goes way back. the dance routine with carole lombard in 'bolero' is amazing for it's day. great actor, way over looked with the greats.

*NIGHT*AFTER*NIGHT* with Mae West and...Angels With Dirty Faces. See these films and if you have seen them already, watch them again!!

Steve Allen forgot that Cagney was a dancer too.

That sounds like something he would have said. He was pure class.
I absolutely LOVE George Raft. Great dresser, phenomenal dancer, handsome, sexy and NO ONE wore a fedora like him. Thanks so much for posting :)

This was wonderful....it was nice seeing a side of George Raft outside of his movie characterizations. By all accounts that I've read, he was a very nice man, but he should NEVER have passed up those roles that went to Bogart! Thanks for posting this!
