NES Maniac Mansion - feeding Meteor to plant & ending

If you don't give the Meteor the contract or call the Meteor Police to take the Meteor away, then you will have to get rid of the Meteor in order to win the game. Usually, the Meteor is placed in the Edsel and blasted into space. But, it is also possible to run upstairs and feed the Meteor to the growing plant in the den (not to be confused with Chuck the Plant).
