  • This was such a wonderful video. I plan to show it to my students next school year. I teach first grade also and struggle to have time to teach writing. This is a great idea and I love the method. Your student show that your are a great educator. Thanks for sharing Mr. A.

  • Mr. A and future writers of America. What a fabulous video. Well done! I am a new teacher and learning more about 4 square on your video was very resourseful. Simple, yet effective. Thanks for the info, I will use it wisely. Thank you kindly, Mrs. G, new 1st grade teacher. :0)

  • Dear Mr. A. and Class,

I taught elementary school for fourteen years. Many of these were teaching in the first grade. Watching your video reminded me of how fantastic first graders are at learning!

I have now been teaching middle school for almost nine years at the sixth grade level. I was looking for a great way to reinforce paragraph writing as we move into our five paragraph compare/contrast essay. Your video did the trick with humor, joy, and simplicity.

    Thank you.

  • Informative, entertaining & cute....I liked this.

  • A wonderful way of making the learning process so much fun. It's amazing how it takes only 1 teacher to change a kids life through education.

He is an amazing teacher your son Stephen, and he better not correct mr comments. xoxo, Da Bronx. Love Lil Stephen impersonator.

Great job Stephen. Your love of teaching always shines through.
