Geez! I really am an old relic! I used to go hear the Atlanta Rhythm Section in Piedmont Park and also in under ground Atlanta zillions of aeons ago. They are the way I discovered Grant. Rock bands used to provide a gate way to earlier music. I used to read the liner notes, and then go hit the used record stores. you could get a decent musical education that way, and also score some killer music for not a whole lots o' bucks. Man, I reckon themz wuz de Flintstones dayz, huh?

Grant Green and Jack McDuff in the same session, this is amazing stuff. Bought this album 20 years ago still love every song.

Thanks for the full album post! This is one of my favorites Grant Green albums. Yusef Lateef was in very prime form!!
