The morning of March 29, 2010 saw the launch of two pioneering efforts to further sustainability by LittleFoot Energy and the Renew America Roadtrip.LittleFoot Energy's big announcement was the launch of Boston's CXO Sustainability NetworkTM. The program offers a summit series of roundtable discussions, webinars, and ongoing video series featuring Boston's green business leaders. Boston area executives are invited to share their position and stories on climate change and sustainability with their contemporaries. Through personal testimonials of initiatives undertaken and the benefits realized by organizations, we are catalyzing a more rapid transition to next generation energy and a more sustainable American economy.

The Renew America Roadtrip (RAR) embarked on their "Driving the Northeast Green" campaign from Boston to Philadelphia - traveling the coastal route in a sleek Tesla Motors Roadster. Along the way the RAR highlighted renewable-energy leadership and fundraising for cooperative charities through a drive-a-thon and fun and unique events that included: a Race-the-Roadster drag-race challenge, electric vehicle exhibitions, and raffles for prizes and rocket-sled-like rides in their Tesla Roadster.

The attendees included:
David O'Shaughnessy - President & Managing Director at Seaport Companies
Don Gudaitis - CEO New England Div at American Cancer Society
James Carmody - VP & General Manager at Seaport Hotel & Seaport World Trade Center
Jim Hunt - Chief of Environment and Energy at City of Boston
Kevin Poulsen - CEO of LittleFoot Energy
Michael Craner - Founder of Renew America RoadtripIn honor of the event the Seaport Hotel is offering one night complimentary valet parking to any guest with a hybrid or electric vehicle for the remainder of 2010.
