try to keep a nice posture and balance on your hips as your shifting your weight. I personally dont like this because he is not in control of his body at all times. he loses balance and tries to recover.

Any tips on how to start being able to roll on the ball? I'm able to stay on the ball and move slightly but once I start to roll I can't recover.

it's useless for fat lazy people. you don't need core strentgh and stability for surfing on the internet or sitting on the couch all day watching tv. if you do sports it will enhance your performance, it's great .
