  • Hi Jenny...are you taking the mickey!? lol

  • no im not taking the micky lol how u been hun? its been along time xx

  • Yeah Im good ta, better than ever. How are you and the kids?

  • Iv started racing at darley this year and doesnt it like easy.

what was his lap times about 1.04s?

    I m doing 1.06s at the moment.

the starts are scary up there the bikes are so close together its nothing like GP racing where you get a 2metre gap, we get a metre if your lucky...

  • Hi cbrgreg, youre right, its like stepping back to the 60s/70s..cramped grid, narrow track with little run off. Dogs on leads in the paddock, and the toilets.... ... but I think thats part of its charm, and you cant deny its slick, cheap racing (as cheap as racing gets anyway!) I was doing 103s every lap in the first one, but youre right, this one was mostly 104s cause I was knackered! Good luck for the rest of the season mate.

  • That FZR sounds great but I wish race bikes could still use open pipes. I remember the days at Darley Moor before race bikes had to have silencers,, and the noises coming from the bikes made the whole event far more exiting. In fact it was amazing just watching the bikes being warmed up in the pit area never mind hearing them being pushed to the limmit on the track. Younger folk today don't know what they're missing.

  • FANTASTIC

  • thats a cool ow bud

  • If you want to try grass roots racing then give the F/Era pre 90 class a try at Tonfanau in mid Wales. I'll say no more as I don't want to spoil it for you.

I also race an OW at Aintree if you fancy another venue.

  • Good footage that mate. The first on bike video I've seen of Darley. The laps feel a bit longer when your when your blowing out your arse at the begining of the season dont they.

    Cheers Tony Griff

  • Thanks for that, have a good one yourself

might see you round darley june 15th
