John and Marlena's last scene (2009)

Stefano salutes John, J&M get married (in soap history's shortest and cheapest wedding) and share their last kiss before heading to Switzerland. I also believe Roman was forgotten in this scene by an accident, because even Dena & company can't be that stupid that they would place him in J&M's final scenes, especially when it's not Wayne's Roman. Damn it.

You might need tissues. It's Deidre and Drake's last scenes as Marlena and John. Gonna miss them :(

this was so tacky of the writers to do this.  everything was so freakin rushed. it gets me every time those tears roll out of Drake's eyes. i think that was the saddest moment of all.

It's very sad to see the condition of daytime soaps now. Letting go of John and Marlena was a HUGE mistake. These soap writers are destroying daytime soaps...soon there won't be any left.

@gottamatch I don't doubt that, but naturally every school has their differences. We had an Aussie exchange here last year, and she only remembered vaguely hearing from Finland before finding out she'd be coming here :)

@IIttu heard of Finland? Of course! haha we have a pretty good school system in Australia. Geography is compulsary to high school students up to year 10 (15 or 16 years old) :)

@IIttu oh I agree, I think it's probably my favourite theme! Have you got the CD? The "John and Marlena" theme is CRAP lol it's not even a 'theme' rather totally random music! So I totally agree with you, at least the music is lovely :) oh and yes, imagine them putting up with more crap storylines. So glad the wicked witch is gone! I along with other Aussies are reeeally hoping that yourself or other YouTubers will help us by putting up their new scenes because we won't see them for years :(

For those interested in a useless fact, the soundtrack music that comes in at 0:58 is actually called "Colleen and Santo"according to the Days of Our Lives OST. It's really very pretty, but it's a shame they couldn't have been given their own theme for this final scene. Thank goodness for their return and that this isn't their actual last EVER scene. If only we knew then... moronic writers and other staff at the time who made this utter crap!
