i used 50 u and V count. I'm currently working on the constraint buy its hard to deal with so many follicles. how many constraint controls would you suggest making to shape the positions?

hello,
well to create the collide sphere I do this: Select your hair system, then go to "display rest curves". Select ALL of your rest curves and then create the collide sphere.
Since you have to select the rest curves one by one, you can do this. Disable all the selection masks on your main toolbar, then just activate the curves selection mask, and just marquee-select all your curves with a single mouse-drag :)

hi so i'm using the pant hair tool but its very hard to control. when i clck somewhere it doesnt always place the follicle. so i was wondering, how to make it more accurate?

You can check your UVs and try to make sure they are as accurate as possible. You can also try increasing the follicles per U and V, as they add more follicles but also make them stick better to your UVs.

how do you created the hair on the surface do you convert the scalp to nurbs or do you created the hairs on a nurbs sphere underneath the scalp

Hello,
If you use the "paint hair" tool under the Hair menu, you can paint on either nurbs or polygon surfaces alike, so you don't have to worry about having a nurbs surface as your scalp (on the other hand, you do need a nurbs surface if you are using the standard paintFX tool).
