This is a documentary I made for my highschool TV class' final project. This documentary highlights the events that took place on the shores of Normandy, France on June 14th, 1944 with a slight Canadian perspective. This raid, also known as D-Day, saw the beginning of the end of Nazi Germany. The names shown at the beginning are the members of my group. Enjoy and never forget the price that was paid.

  • A lot of work went into this video but it is unfortunate, however, that certain scenes which were put into it really ruin it....fake guns, fake soldiers.... and I believe even one scene at 2;44 is from a WW l film with soldiers without helmets.....But as a school project I will still say"Good job" and thank you for doing it. We all learn by doing !!....

  • They never took russia!

  • what were your sources?

  • 8:19 lol thats from Saving Private Ryan!

  • I want an inflatable tank thats so cool 4 the kids. Whomever said lets make inflatable decoy tanks is the man. wouldnt fly with todays optics

  • The original date for D-Day was 5th of June 1944 but due to weather conditions they moved it to 6th JUne 1944

  • Great video! I'm going to use it for an introduction for one of my class projects.

  • good video, lousy acting

  • Errors: 1) Nazis attacked the USSR on 22JUN41, therfore, the USSR had been fighting for 3 rather than 2-years as stated in the vid. 2) The 2nd Canadian Inf. Regt. was part of the 3rdCanadian Inf. Division, & regts. had no where near 14,000 men as thevid states, but a n allied division was 14,000+ men strong. I didn't watch the whole vid, but it has good clips in it.

  • very good video
