  • It's moments like this that makes me feel proud to be an American.

  • For crying out loud. Who cares? Why on earth do you want to tarnish the memory that all of us have of this moment in our lives with a ridiculous observation like that?

  • if she hadn't hurt her ankle, i wonder how she would have done in AA since she qualified for it.

  • Somethinge else I liked about this team is that they all seemed to get along. There don't seem to be any rivalries, even though some are better at things than others.

  • Kerri Strug looked like she was in A LOT of pain; and how old was she?? That is tough!!

  • @charity0074eva Well I also think the team was carried by Alicia as well. Her vaulting and leadership skills helped them A LOT.

  • "Don't forget Kerry" lol. God I wish I had been there so bad!! I live in metro-Atlanta, but my parents couldn't get tickets for gymnastics.

  • I wish so bad that I could go back and buy tickets to this event. It was only 5 hours from where I used to live.

  • @LAX324 Kerri also needed to hit that second vault if she wanted to qualify for the event finals, but yes, the USA would have won the gold medal without it. That vault guaranteed them the gold.

  • This takes me back to high schol and watching straight US women's olympics and Michael Johnson litterally flying down the track and winning every race he attended. The 90's were great!

  • The problem with most of the teams now is that they only have a minimum of 1 world championship experience. The Mag Seven had (outside of Moceanu) had each been to at least two world championships. That experience is so valuable.
