No. 4 Street of Our Lady priča iznimnu, ali malo poznatu priču o Francisci Halamajowoj, poljskoj katolkinji koja je spasila 15 svojih susjeda Židova tijekom holokausta, i to tako što se lukavo predstavljala kao pristaša nacizma. Uoči početka Drugog svjetskog rata, više od 6.000 Židova živjelo je u Sokalu, gradiću u istočnoj Poljskoj, koji je sada dio Ukrajine. Do kraja rata preživjelo ih je samo 30, od kojih je polovicu spasila Halamajowa. Skoro dvije godine skrivala je susjede Židove u njezinom malenom domu, kuhala i spremala za njih, sve to ispred njemačke vojske koja se utaborila na njezinom imanju

No. 4 Street of Our Lady tells the remarkable, yet little-known, story of Francisca Halamajowa, a Polish-Catholic woman who rescued 15 of her Jewish neighbors during the Holocaust by cleverly passing herself off as a Nazi sympathizer. On the eve of World War II, more than 6,000 Jews lived in Sokal, a small town in Eastern Poland, now part of Ukraine. By the end of the war, only about 30 had survived, half of them rescued by Halamajowa. For close to two years, she hid her Jewish neighbors in her tiny home and cooked and cared for them, right under the noses of German troops...
