@xXShadErknessXx No. Water evaporates! Unless you absolutely soak it in the stuff, then it might cause a problem. ;-)
-
wont the water mess up the phone?
-
@PreLudeLoveR67 it certainly doesn't feel like water and I'm sure I saw something along the lines of "Contains = Blah%" on the spray bottle. The spray lets you move the protector around until you have it in the correct position so it should help you. I never got any air-bubbles.
-
is the spray regular water? or a special spray? cause im not very good at puting the screen prtector on things! lol my itouch has like a bilion airbubbles
-
Thanks for the cred' ;-)
-
Thank's so much for this video! 5 Stars!
-
Nah mate it's not necessary. Those scratches are so minimal it's not worth worrying about and after a few hours the surface has properly bonded and looks and feels even better.
-
at 6:30 i noticed some "scratches" on the screen, would you recommend putting something on top of the screen shield when using the squeegee?
Thanks!
-
Nothing as far as I am aware. HTC call it the Dream but Google have named it the G1. So 'Google G1' is the 'HTC Dream'. ;-)
-
Whats the difference between the Dream HTC and the normal G1?
-
No not at all. It evaporates quickly. The purpose of the moisture/spray is to allow you to allign the shield on the screen by letting it slide around a little, the moisture is gone after a few hours leaving absolutely no air bubbles.
-
Did the moisture effect the screen?
-
Initially I recall it did affect the responsiveness, but over time it got better. I wouldn't be able to tell if it's as responsive as it was without a screen protector without removing it. It's been on there for 4 months now ;-)
-
does the invisible shield affect the responsiveness of the screen?
-
Yes. It's worth the extra pennies ;-)..
It's still on there and I now just keep my phone in my pocket without it's sleeve.
-
Just an update, I've had the screen protector on for a few weeks now and I've experienced NO problems what so ever. It looks brand new. ALTHOUGH, because it is more grippy surface of sorts, fingerprint grime does attract to it more than other screen protectors. Not an issue though.
-
I understand your concern and it's a fair call. But all of my phones have been exposed to the elements and none of them have failed due to it. Even having your phone in your pocket is enough to water damage your phone from humidity, as many of my friends have discovered. Not to mention having them in the bathroom while they shower.
-
Theres no way im putting any liquid substance on my $400 phone. NO WAY! I kno two people who have suffered water damage and im to paranoid for that shyt. T-Mo got some screen protectors although expensive...10 for $14.99 but if you cut them right you can get 20.

I've found it to be pretty awesome so far after 2 weeks. It's hard to notice its even there. If u were to consider another brand try EXIM Spuc Screen Protectors, they make excellent screen protectors and are a fair bit cheaper than the Invisible Shields.

I am 13 years old and have a G1. I never drop my phone and only want to protect it from scratches. Do you recommend this product? Thank you in advance.

@JhonnyBoyLive if you never drop it, it might be worth just getting the 'screen sheild' rather than the 'compete body sheild'. As my phone is reaching it's end of life, aka I want a HTC Desire, I've removed the screen protector for a little bit more screen response.
