HD 720p on HTC Desire

Just recorded a short video to test out 720p video recording on HTC Desire. I installed Froyo (Android 2.2) to enable HD shooting.

Wow nice, but how i install android 2.2

the update is 90 mb big, and i have only 384 kbps internet from t-mobile.

So is there an other way to download and install this??

@TheNicostyle77 I've been trying to find the original ROM (update) but it is only to be found through the phone.

The description is unfinished ;) but I guess it was to say phone? Which ROM are you using? And the Frame Rate looks slighly choppy? is this an issue with the ROM?

@LukeHandle In my other video are all the links you need for ROM etc. /watch?v=Ulrbcxn0OUc. I'm not sure if the frame rate has anything to do with the ROM, but it can now that it is rooted. Maybe they improved it in the final version of 2.2. I haven't gotten that one yet.

@zauak I'm with Vodafone so I won't be getting the official 2.2 for like weeks, so I thought I'd take the plunge. I will probably go back to it official for a bit, to compare the implementations of the features... The HD video will probably be better on the official, but the apps 2 SD will be better on the custom (it uses no space from the phone, at all)
