This is the NYE fireworks display I shot in my backyard on 31st of December 2008.
These were all commercial cakes.
I fused them together myself (with Visco fuse) but one seemed to ignite faster than the other so my schedule kinda failed.
Though it was a nice display.

  • Great fusing!

  • @IAmTheSkinMan

    Thx mate ;)

  • That was a 5* show! You really should think about setting these up for a proffesional show, honestly i think the croud would love it! You'd just need a proffesional liscense though...which arent too expensivehonestly..then you can get the 3-4 inchers on up without question! lol

  • @mastermakerhacker

Thx for that nice comment ;)

Yeah I'd love too but my personal life is kinda busy (atm) so I can't find the time to go pro :)

Glad you liked the show. I still have to upload the one from 2009-2010 wich I recorded in 1080i HD :D

I hope to find some time soon to learn the video program I own... lol

  • @PyroCreationZ

    Do eit! Do eit! haha

Yeah, pyrotechnics is an extremely time consuming hobby, and money consuming too :\ but more time consuming..Well, just dont go to sleap and you can use that time for pyro! nah i kid m8.. So this really was a visco only time display? it really did look like someone used an electronics system or something, perfect timing and everything

  • @mastermakerhacker

    Hehe :P

Yep, visco fuse only. I did saw most of the cakes before and knew their approx. buring time so based on that I have cut the visco fuse to the desired lenght and fused everything togheter.

I made a 128 cue (wired) firing system this year so my next NYE show will be electronically fired :D

Yeah that's true, everyone can do it with a few big cakes but how we combine them is the technique.

    Thanks again.

PS: What video are you referring to?

  • Yea like the President of my club said 500 gram cakes can make anyone look good but its how u use them. How on my 4th show its all class c but how each one goes off timed and other things going off at the same time, Thats the art. You didnt do bad at all. Watch close on mine and u can c them getting mixed. It gets better at the end. Always make it loud and long. Again good job.

  • @WNYPyroArtist

Thank you means alot to hear it from you :)

Well, I'm not a pyrotechnician. I only do some pyro as a hobby but I do a major show in my backyard every year.

And this year was no different :)

I will put it online but probably only somewhere in january or february due to havind some probs with my video programs. Thanks for the comment on my profile and a happy and safe 2010 to you as well.

  • I think you did a great job. Any non pyro wont notice that. How long u done fireworks? Did u do one this year.
