@MultiPelias Beatles music has always been commercial, I don't understand what you're trying to say about John and Paul?

I liked Pauls first two solo albums.... when he formed Wings, he sold out. John Lennon, the same thing too.... I think Ringo and George were still the same and benefited from being under Paul and John's thumbs. George and Ringo seemed like thier personalities never changed and they remained true to their fans and to themselves. As for Paul and John.... they went too commercial and knew how to market their music after they got their "solo works" of un used Beatles songs published in 1970-1973.

this is amazingly just a tad better than the mccartney version for some reason!

The story is very sad

Whenever Paul was on the piano or the acoustic guitar, that meant John was on the bass which I'm sure he would have rather not had to play. When Lennon was on the bass, he played a Fender Bass VI which is an awesome bass and has a unique sound of its own. It was the first 6 string bass, and now you can't touch one for under $2,500; more expensive than a new Rickenbacker, which Paul plays (I have one of those; also expensive).
Paul and Linda's remake of Teddy Boy on MCcartney sounds much "cleaner" than this take. But, The Beatles' version has a charm all its own, which the MCcartney album version lacks.

Amazed this has so few viewers. This is awesome! I love the one on Anthology, 'take your partner, do-se-do', but it's nice to hear George doing the same rock-a-billy guitar stuff... thanks?
