This 3rd City of Heroes/City of Villains movie is my first attempt at character portrait within that game setting (City of villains specifically for this one). it is also my first attempt with sound/music mixing and editing.

  • Amazing movie, Great plot. It was a lot easier to understand the some of the CoX character videos.

  • @dajdawgzaccount Thanks. You might like to look at the other ones I made too. I'm working on another, more elaborate one for coH and one for STO at the moment. Hope you will like them too.

  • Clever use of static objects to imply movement and action. Very atmospheric and well done!

  • Thanks! You're the first one I beleive to really notice my ''little tricks''. Had to work with what I had... And like the moviemakers of early 20th century, I had to tell a story without dialog so atmosphere is the key! Glad you liked it.

  • Nice Job! I want to start making videos on CoH but I dont know where to get a good software.

  • Go see Samuraiko's handle. She has a lot of info to give on a seminar she gave and posted on youtube. She is the best!

Coh website has also a forum about making videos and lot of info and resources there too.

  • Oops! Looking at it again, I spotted it on 3 shots! I'll have to be more careful with my editing next time. Maybe I was too eager to finish it. Thanks for the help!

  • Thanks! Your viewer must be better than mine 'cause I did crop images and nothing shows on mine. Knowing now about demorecord (again thanks to you!) problem should be solved, I played with sound levels for effect but seems I still need to work on it! As for music identification, I shall follow your advice (didn't know it was that important!). Well, back to work I guess...

  • Not bad at all! Awesome music, btw, and some very good cinematic shots! Couple quick critiques - check the volume levels on your sound effects, and crop the FRAPS shot to lose the bar and URL at the top. Also, put the title of your music in your description so others can see it without having to watch the whole vid. But great work! :D

  • Thanks; but now that I know about demorecord, the next ones should better, at least visually!
