    OMG... He's the cutest thing!

    How old was Riley in this video?

    He makes me think of my own old dachshund, which I had to put to sleep last year (cancer)... :'-(

    He was 13,5 years old then and my heart was entirely (and still ìs a little) broken.

    Thanks God I've got another handsome, sweet, crazy & naughty dachshund right now (7,5 months), to make me smile again!

    Once a dachshund, always a dachshund! :-p

    Riley was 8 years old in that video. Sadly, Riley died on Halloween this past year at 13 1/2 years of age. It was a very sad Christmas without him this year

    Hey you had 13.5 wonderful funny years communicating with another species. THAT IS AWESOME. My two former stray cats will eventually go but I've lost cats before, it's now with all the talking, wake up nudges, lap sitting, slipping under my hand for a pet, that's the building of memories many are too selfish to acquire.

    Get another soon if you haven't already. Plenty of love needed out there.
