The Hippies in the vid did sound ignorant, but we knew that going in. Besides would you like these guys holding some kind of political office? No thanks. So they are doing all they can. Being ignorant is a full time job in San Fran.

I don't believe in the war in Iraq or Afghanistan but do support the troops. They are just doing their job. Please someone tell why we are truly there. Democracy has to be earned not imposed. But since we are there building a new country. Why can we not get our money back from Iraq oil revenue? Our troops cost money, the Iraqis should pay us back in black gold.

What is the point of this video? Without maybe a stratified sample of people in a place such as Berkeley, all you can expect is an unreliable bias.

I'm a student at UC Berkeley, and I know if I waked down Telegraph and asked people how they felt about legalizing marijuana, I would get a lot of support for legalization. However, those peoples' opinions can't even come close to being considered representative of most peoples' opinions, so again, what's the point of this video?

As little as I like "hippies" I am the son of one of the biggest hippies on telegraph in the 60's. I can say with accuracy, that NONE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE VIDEO ARE HIPPIES.

Perhaps some pseudo leftist. cafe latte chugging, artsy internet cruising, wannabe's but, nary a serious activist among them.

I on the other hand am no spokeseperson for hippies, but I AM The spokespersaon for telegraph avenue. self appointed. sue me, I know more.
