Permed hair seems to also discourage black females from wanting to workout...which IS a prob amongst bw....that "ww are fat too" or "America has a obesity prob not just bw" crap is a lame defense. What if bm said, "well wm go to jail too" as a excuse for the incarceration prob amongst young bm...it would be considered a joke lol.

I def learned two things from the women in my family. 1)dark skin is not desired 2)nappy hair is no good to have....since there IS an absence of blk fathers...you would think (since bm get the blame for everything wrong w/the community) black women would instill in their children a sense of pride in their hair AND skin color. Little blk boys raised by their mothers whom wear their hair natural and love their dark skin color tend to have more positive views concerning them.

Hi Tommy, I just watched your video. I agree with some of what you said; however, this self-esteem issue does not fall solely on Black women. Black men need to take responsibility also. Many BM (NOT ALL) don't embrace BW with natural hair; others prefer to be with only lighter-skinned BW or date outside of their race all together. As a kid, I heard Black boys calling other darker-skinned Black boys "tar baby." Both BM & BW need to take responsibility for these things.
