Jackie Mason '08 Vlog 17 English! Who Needs It?

This is a part of my opening on my radio show, originally aired February 24th, 2008. My attack of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama recently saying that it is not necessary to make English our official language. They also think that it's not important that we make children learn it when they come to this Country. These are the same two, who are fighting with each other, about who can create more Jobs. Well how are these kids supposed to get Jobs, unless they learn English? How can they say they are fighting for the poor, while they encourage them not to have the tools to get ahead?

In many areas we are required to be bilingual and speak english and spanish in order to get hired for a job. No American citizen should be forced to speak a foreign language in their own country in order to get a job! Jackie, your own relatives were most likely immigrants who didn't speak a word of English when they came over. If they did, they were a minority. And apparently you haven't been on Craigslist anytime soon, because there are MILLIONS of jobs that prefer Spanish-speaking employees. It's called immigration and free trade.
