This man needs to first learn how to play guitar. First off you don't strum from the high E to the low E. It just doesn't sound right as in good. It dosen't sound pleasing to the ear.
When he changes the chords for his "bridge" what he is doing is playing non chords and his closed strings conflict with the open strings so instead of harmony there is dischord. You have to follow the laws of music or it just won't sound right. The whole tune is monotonous. Vocally you get a C. Nothing special.
