@raven0205 I too have felt this. So strongly that I felt God could never forgive me. I WAS WRONG!!! He helped me sort it all out when He knew I could handle it. You must be strong. Keep praying and stay in prayer. Catch yourself when you are about to sin. He will help you. He does not tempt you. The enemy does that. Remember, His peace is yours too.

@raven0205 "Stand firm and let nothing move you." "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 Hope this helped! Sorry for the novel! God bless you! Let me know how God works wonders in your life and know that I'll be praying alongside you.

@raven0205 I urge you to read all of Psalm 103. It's legit. Read through the Gospels as well and learn more about what Jesus has done for all of us because "knowledge produces love." The more you know about Jesus, the more you are compelled to love him because of who he is. Now, does Jesus's sacrifice make it so we are allowed to sin? As Paul would say, "By no means!" In James 2 it says "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?"

@raven0205 offer some things that have worked with me. Get an accountability partner. Someone you trust that you can share how you are doing with and who will keep you in line if you mess up. Meet with them regularly and call or text them every day. Also, pray that God would give you a desire for his beautiful Word. I've found that there's a direct correlation between how much time we spend in God's Word and my sin. If you ask him for that, though, he'll give it to you. And it's awesome!

@raven0205 The stubbornness they had in the desert in the book of Exodus. But verses 38 and 39 are awesome. They say, "Yet he (God), being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath." It also says in Psalm 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions (sins) from us. I would encourage you to be in earnest prayer about this. I've struggled with the same thing and I can

@raven0205 We have all broken the heart of God as humans. We are sinful. Jesus Christ did an amazing thing on the cross though! He took in every single sin ever committed by every erson to ever live and died with them so that we don't have to pay for those. When God looks at us, he doesn't see our jacked-up, sinful selves; he sees his son Jesus Christ! In Psalm 78, a beautiful picture is presented about God's forgivness. The whole Psalm talks about (or I guess sings about) Israel's stubbornness.

My stepson's mother is an atheist. Maybe, that is why I came along. I have a hard time maintaining a positive attitude around her because she can be deceitful. Please pray for us, I am struggling as a Christian right now as it is.
