This is a song my mom used to sing to me when I was little as a lullaby. While I didn't actually know the name of the song until about a month ago, and only referred to it as "The Rainbow Song", I now know the title of the song is Daddy's Little Girl. This arrangement is performed on Crossroads' album. I asked my mom what the lyrics were a month ago and.. well.. I guess memories happened. Anyway, about two days later, amazingly enough, I found this recording and knew that I basically had to do it. It was originally a plan for Mother's Day, but I haven't been multitracking much in the last couple of months, because of my final recital at school do I decided I'd post it early.

I'm going to stand by the phrase "It's the thought that counts", because I don't think this recording is quite on par with some of my other ones. I found out how incredibly hard to multitrack an entire song Rubato - without a steady tempo or beat. Considering that the bass was sooooo freakin' low, I was really struggling to sing it on pitch and more difficultly, in time with the other parts.

The stuff at the end...? When we were kids, my brother, cousins, and I made home videos all the time. For some reason, we always made commercials to go in them as well. This is a remake of my brother's commercial for Finesse. Hopefully he can remember that far back.. Mitchell usually does..
