holy crap, OCed to 4? damn dude, I got the same CPU and its at 3ghz. but its enough, I played Grid on max @ 1680x1050 w/ 16x AA, on a single G92. completely playable, no lags whatsoever. I'd say I was getting 40fps at least.

yeah, this game is much more playable than DiRT was. they obviously did some work to make the game engine more efficient.

and the overclocking is just a hobby of mine. nobody needs 4 GHz ;)

is 4 ghz noticeably faster than 3.2ghz without the hardrives slowing you down>?and does it improve frame rates?

not really. my CPU overclock is mostly just for fun. i do notice the extra speed when compiling video for movies, but not in video games.

i use an X-Box 360 game pad for my driving games. good steering wheels are kind of expensive and too big to take to LAN parties ;)
