An updated video introduction about The Glasgow Studio, and what we've been up to over the past year. It's our hope that this video will give you a flavor of what we're all about, and an idea of our fantastic musical taste. About the studio: The Glasgow Studio consists of 5th year architectural design students at Kansas State University led by Professor Susanne Siepl-Coates and Alan Dunlop, the 2009-2010 Victor L. Regnier Visiting Faculty Chair. The Glasgow Studio aims to provide design proposals for a state of the art residential component for students of Hazelwood School in Glasgow, Scotland, a school for multi-sensory impaired children and young adults. Based on knowledge gained from user input and literature review we intend to create exemplary accommodations to support adolescents and young adults with dual sensory impairments. We strive to create an atmosphere that will help develop life skills; promoting self-assurance and independence. Video was edited and created by Josh Winter and Jim Rothfork (with tons of help from studio). Follow us all on theglasgowstudio.org Grazie.
