@JesusNonEnviromental i agree the gospel is so simple a 5 year old can understand.However it is so remarkable in its depth that you can study it until 95 years of age and never fully grasp if. You do a great disservice by ONLY looking at its simplicity. Read Romans 5:14 where Paul speaks of Adam, "who is a type of Christ who was to come". For the old testament is unveiled in the new. Adam WAS a man AND also a type of Christ. By your comments, your knowledge of the gospel are shallow!

@surgerguy322001 The Gospel is simple and so are men so they compliment one another. Men complicate the message with symbolism and application and tradition and science and the more they expound and disect the Word of God the more confused they become. Learn this and it will suffice. Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so. Learn this and you will stop laboring to get knowledge that doesnt exist and profits you nothing

@JesusNonEnviromental I disagree with your statement that people should read the bible and it will interpret itself. For this reason, there are over 35,000 different Protestant denominations in the US alone. Catholic means Universal, and there was only one (universal) Christian religion prior to Martin Luther breaking from the Church in the 16th century. He harbored a hatred for the papacy, and this led to his unwillingness to try and make needed change in the one true Church that Jesus built
