@salsamanzag Lady Gaga is following in the footsteps of singers from the 1980's. For example Nina Hagen, Hazel O'Connor, Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper maybe a tiny miniscule from Christina but not enough to notice it.

@JerryWE I know she most likely doesn't draw inspiration from Christina. But that doesn't change the fact that Christina is one of the women that paved the way for her. Whether or not anyone likes it, it's true. All Christina did in this video was wear ass-less chaps and grind on people and talk about getting Dirrty and she took MAJOR slack. Now Gaga talks about riding on disco sticks, wears WAY more revealing clothes than X did on this and doesn't get much slack. So yeah lol ;)
