  • @birderdj available for purchase?

  • is this song on any live trax album?

  • It was of his sister. He spoke in an interview with rolling stone. He won't speak of the details to this day. Other than that her life was taken my her husband then he turned the gun on himself. He then raised Annes babies. As he explained in Sister," it was as if God had opened their chests and put his heart into her and her heart in him" they spoke of that scenario when they were young, it's why it hurt so bad...

  • First and foremost I can't get that guitar riff out of my head, love it. "watching the world on tv" is most likely a reference to the fact that we see so many unfortunate events that don't hit home until it happens to us. I think this song is very personal to him as his sister was murdered. just my two cents. i'm guessing others may have a similar opinion but i haven't gone through all of the comments...

  • Hillsong United says something in one of their documentaries that has the same meaning. they say, "Its not fair that we can sit and watch the evening news from the comfort of our living rooms and pity those who lived where the storm hit or where the ground shook or where the water rose and simply feel sorry for them and then change the channel and get on with supper." same idea. the video is found by "hillsong united I-HEART: We're All In This Together"
