About 29 seconds into this trailer there is part of a scene with Abel Sunday where he says "my son is a healer and a vessel for the holy spirit" but this wasn't in the final version of the film - at least, not the version I have. Does anyone know if there are different versions of the film that have been released?

I've read the interpretation of the plot as such: Plainview represents pure capitalism, with his raw lust for power. His main opponent, Eli Sunday, represents religion. Both ideologies compete for the heart of America; both are, in several fundamental ways, corrupt methods of manipulating the weak. By the end of the film we know which is victorious.

@jeremyp371 Thanks I didn't relize my form of entertainment wasn't up to your standards. And to me acting is with less than shit if thats all the movie has to offer. It's like putting all those actors in the movie called "Plan 9 from outerspace" and expecting it to be a good movie because the acting was good. So sir I sudgest you go ahead and pull your head out of your ass.
