CBC News report on the Alberta Somali Community Center's project to educate hundreds of Somali refugees in a remote camp in Uganda. The project aims to provide a better future for the children in the camp by providing adequate school supplies and highly qualified teachers as well as improving the infrastructure of the main school in the camp. This project is close to the heart of Canadian Somalis in Alberta as many of their family members live in the Nakivale refugee camp in Uganda.
